LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for performing a variety of transactional accounting services, including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparation. This role will also serve as a liaison to internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site, providing a balanced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Work collaboratively with other members of the shared services team to ensure efficient and effective accounting operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a shared services environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
$90,000- $95,000
