Job Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Burlington, NJ (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Salary: $130,000–$140,000 base

Position Summary:
A leading manufacturing company in Burlington, NJ is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their finance team. This role reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, managing a small team, and supporting process improvements following a recent SAP implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounting operations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Supervise a small accounting team
- Lead the month-end close process
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Support SAP system integration and standardize accounting processes
- Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and strategy
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in GL accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting staff
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Background in manufacturing accounting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CPA preferred but not required
