Position Summary:

LHH has partnered with an exciting company going through significant growth to identify a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant! The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in public accounting and a strong understanding of general ledger functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards and will be part of a dynamic and well-structured accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Maintain and analyze financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting and/or general ledger accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
