LHH is seeking an experienced Claims Manager in Chandler, AZ. Your contribution will help the medical office in sending out claims and provide detailed client account records. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to adjudicate more complex claims, requiring additional research or problem solving.
  • Collaborate with department managers to overcome challenges and present ideas for process improvement across the organization.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of encounter error reports and implementing change to prevent outbound claim encounter rejects.
  • Execute check run process including review of claims for accuracy, payment posting and assuring checks are mailed timely. Complete timely void and reissue of stale dated and returned checks.
  • Provides hands on leadership, training, mentoring, and work product management to a team of direct
  • Ability to formulate, manage, and measure short and long term specific, clear goals to meet key performance indicators and company revenue targets.
  • Provides data driven deliverables and goals to leadership.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improved billing outcomes.
  • Qualifications:

  • College degree required
  • Minimum 6 years health care claims management experience preferably with Medicare
  • Advantage and/or project management experience in systems implementation
  • Knowledge of Medicare rules, medical terminology, managed care health plan rules and
  • regulations, ICD-9, CPT and RVS codes.
  • Superior MSOffice skills specifically Excel and Visio. 60+ WPM Touch, 10-key
  • Superior communications skills.
  • SQL Query and Crystal Reports creation preferred
