HR and Payroll Analyst

LHH is seeking candidates for a direct hire HR and Payroll Analyst position in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HRIS and Payroll experience, is very technically savvy, and has utilized Ceridian Dayforce HRIS!

Responsibilities:

  • Review payroll and ensure it is ready to be processed by third party vendor
  • Work with third party vendor to process wage garnishments, pay changes, LOA, FMLA, etc.
  • Perform data updates, conduct data audits, and review data discrepancies
  • Train new system users on processes and functions of the HRIS software
  • Maintain confidential employee records in the HRIS software
  • Find efficiencies in the system and update processes
  • Stay up to date with new payroll tax requirements and relevant laws in several states
  • Handle ad hoc reporting
  • Update the benefits modules with any changes
  • Answer employee questions and inquiries in regards to data and HRIS software
  • Qualifications:

  • 4+ years payroll and HRIS management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of payroll and tax requirements
  • Familiarity with weekly, biweekly, multi-state payroll processing
  • Proficient use of an HRIS/payroll software, Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel utilizing VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in the office 3 days per week
