Open Enrollment Benefits Specialist

LHH is seeking candidates for a contract Benefits Specialist to assist an organization with Open Enrollment! We are looking for candidates with experience in benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, retirement, short and long-term disability and 401(k) plans.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist employees regarding benefits questions and plan changes


  • Assess benefits plans and compare options and plans for various carriers


  • Distribute all benefits enrollment materials


  • Determine employee benefits eligibility


  • Process all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork


  • Process employee life event benefit changes


  • Enroll new and existing employees in benefits


  • Provide necessary reporting data for billing changes


Qualifications:



  • 2+ years benefits administration experience within HR


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office


  • Experience utilizing an HRIS


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred


  • Strong organizational and time management skills
