We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Lead with strong Excel skills and proficiency in UKG software to join our team. This is an onsite position in north Charlotte.

Responsibilities

· Process and verify payroll data using UKG software.

· Ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions.

· Maintain payroll records and prepare reports using Excel.

· Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and multi-state payroll laws

· Post payroll journal entries to the General Ledger.

· Payroll reconciliations.

· Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure compliance and accuracy.

· Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.

· Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll and garnishments processes.

· Support Benefits and streamlining internal customer service processes as it pertains to benefits.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.

· Proficiency in UKG software required.

· Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups (assessment will be preformed during interview process.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
