LHH is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable to join our client in Charlotte, NC. This position will lead AR operations within a dynamic shared services environment. The role is critical to optimizing cash flow, driving process improvements and ensuring best-in-class customer billing and collections practices across the organization. This company operates on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end AR function, including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution

  • Develop and implement AR strategies to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and overall cash flow

  • Oversee AR teams across multiple business units or geographies within the shared services model

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Treasury, etc.) to resolve issues and streamline processes

  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to AR team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in AR or Order-to-Cash, with at least 4 years in a leadership role

  • Experience in a shared services or global business services (GBS) environment strongly preferred

  • Proven track record of improving AR performance and leading high-performing teams

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and AR automation tools



Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
