Production Planner needed (contract to hire)
100% on site in Chestnut Ridge NY
Salary up to 70K (depending in experience)
Hours: 7:45-4:30
Heavy Operations related role.
"Shop Floor Control"- Planner-
Release work orders
Expediting the orders and ensuring there is coverage. (Two people do this job and Ross does the long term planning w/ Executives)
Creates and releases production work orders to meet order promise dates
Enter and update production forecasts in the MRP system
Review sales orders for product availability and order timing
Advise order management on order rescheduling to compensate for rush priorities, material shortages, or production issues
Track all work in progress and update reports
ERP- BAAN- will train- just ERP experience needed
Associate or Bachelors Degree as well as Ops or Manufacturing experience-preferred
