Accounting Clerk

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Salary: $23-$25 per hour

Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join the team. This temp-to-perm position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the financial success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports

• Reconcile bank statements and accounts

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Prepare financial reports and statements

• Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
