Contract/Temp to Hire


LHH is excited to share an outstanding Bookkeeper/Accountant position on a temp/hire basis for a Top Client in Chicago, IL. Full benefits including medical, retirement savings and paid time off will be offered.

Position Details


The Bookkeeper will be responsible for full cycle accounting including A/P, A/R, Payroll, General Ledger and Payroll.


  • Accounts Receivable - Prepares monthly invoices & follows up on AR aging.
  • Accounts Payable - Processes invoices and expenses with accuracy. Pay vendors as invoices are due.
  • Upload payroll data to ADP and submit for processing.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies; respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Account Reconciliation: Bank & credit card statements
  • Assists in month end close, annual financial review & 401K plan audit.
  • Maintains electronic documentation of transactions, ACH payments and other accounting documents.
  • Responds to requests and inquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Assists in documenting internal control processes
  • Assist and support with special accounting projects.

Required Skills and Experience


  • Minimum 3-5 years of Accounting experience required
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance highly desired
  • QuickBooks knowledge is required with proficient Excel Must have high attention to detail and impeccable communications skills
