Job Title: Securities Attorney

Location: Chicago, IL

LHH has partnered with a repeat firm client in the Greater Chicago Area that is actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience as to federal and state securities law. Interested? Let's take a look as to what this role offers!

For You:

  • Base salary of $230,000+, depending on experience and background

  • 1850 billable hour requirement, with bonus starting at the 2000 billable hour mark

Your Duties:

  • Compliance and Regulatory Advice: Providing legal counsel to ensure adherence to securities laws and regulations, including the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the Investment Company Act of 1940.

  • Corporate Transactions: Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings (initial and secondary), and private placements, ensuring all transactions comply with securities laws.

  • Documentation and Filings: Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including prospectuses, statements of additional information, and shareholder reports.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Illinois bar.

  • Proven experience in securities law.



Pay Details: $230,000.00 to $350,000.00 per year
