Staff Accountant in Chicago, Illinois

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full time, direct hire role with our client located in Chicago, Illinois. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports and analyzing and generating cost reports. The opportunity will allow you to work both from home and from the client office.

Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries

Support Accounts Payable

Review and approve daily banking requirements

Reconciliations

Prepare documentation for external auditors

Inventory

Budgets

Required skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years’ experience in accounting

Manufacturing industry experience

Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamic Navision preferred)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to multi-task

Strong organizational skills
