VP of Human Resources

LHH Recruiting Solutions is looking for a HR super star. We have been exclusively retained for this search. Our team is looking for an experienced VP of Human Resources with capabilities to handle two international regions. This role will significantly contribute to the strategic development and performance of both the regions in order to achieve our client’s sales and operations targets. This function will also contribute to the further development the organizational set-up, our HR processes, and our leadership culture to get to the next level. The ideal candidate is highly customer centric, entrepreneurial, and well-versed executive who takes charge of shaping the future of our HR and organizational development in these two regions. You will have 1000 employees under your purview.

Location: US. This role can sit in Chicago, Omaha, Oklahoma City and rural Ohio, 40 minutes from Toledo. Our client is offering relocation.

Target base salary of 225k to 250k with 30% bonus and favorable comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

Be a strategic business partner on eye-level to the regional management teams; consult, coach and support them in their leadership activities

Represent both international regions in the global HR context and actively contribute to the strategic and operational development of HR

Successfully implement the global policies, processes and tools in the regions, while shaping the future HR/HRBP set-up

Drive the formulation of regional HR strategies, complementing the global frame and provide state-of-the-art HR services to the regions

Accountable for the overall performance of the HR organization in both regions including consistent and accurate HR Reporting; maintain oversight of all regional and local HR programs including C&B, payroll, full lifecycle of hire to retire, Learning and Development, International assignments, Diversity & Inclusion, Union and other mandatory compliance topics, handbooks, policies and procedures, legal issues

Harmonize HR processes and tools and drive the digitalization of HR

Foster a performance-oriented, collaborative culture

Assure compliance with law/regulations as well as internal group guidelines and leadership principles

Qualifications:

Master degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Psychology or comparable qualification with focus on Human Resources and Organizational Development

> 15 years of relevant job experience: HR Management, HR Business Partnering Organizational Development, People Development, Change Management

Leadership experience in a global business context for several years

Intercultural competence and proven skills in change management

Strong communication, workshop facilitation and leadership skills

High level of self-organization, drive and passion combined with patience and tenacity

Willingness to travel (>25%)
