Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist
Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay Rate: $25 - $27 per hour (Contract to Hire)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our team in City of Industry, CA. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

  • Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors.

  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

  • Manage accounts receivable, including posting payments, invoicing customers, and reconciling discrepancies.

  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.

  • Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and financial reporting.

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP systems.

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with vendors and customers professionally.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Sorting).

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
