LHH Recruitment Solution is looking for a Project Accountant in City of Industry. This opportunity is paying up to $64,000, based on experience. This position is full-time and hybrid (2 weeks at home, 1 week in office). In this role, this individual will be assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties. We are looking for individuals with at least 3 year of accounting experience and exposure with handling forecasting (bugeting a PLUS).

Job Duties:

- MUST: have experience with forecasting and reading financial statements P&L

- Review and process all invoices and ensure proper authorization is provided

- Handle invoices/payments regarding mileage/travel, credit card charges, utilities, subcontractors, consultants, reimbursements and advances

- Communicate with vendors, employees, and directors through phone and email regularly by providing them updates on project

- Prepare billings and documentation for monthly reports and invoices to ensure compliance with applicable law is met

- Generate monthly reconciliation of runs to collect outstanding funds

- Develop monthly expenditure reports for each assigned projects

- Prepare adjusting entries to the accounting systems

- Review availability of funds for new hires, status changes, and extensions

- Perform additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications:

- Experience with government grants and contracts is a plus

- Bachelor's Degree (four year college) in Accounting/Economics/Finance required and at least 3 years experience in an accounting department preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing trends.

- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, IFstatements), Microsoft Word, Outlook

- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle a PLUS)

- Strong communication skills - oral and written

- Team player

- Detail-oriented, Accountability, Problem-solving, Accuracy

Compensation:

$60,000-$64,000
