LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Processing Supervisor to join a growing team in Mayfield Heights. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in payroll processing, strong communication skills, and proven leadership abilities. This role involves overseeing the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and providing training and mentoring to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the payroll processing team to ensure accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Provide training, mentoring, and support to payroll staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management review.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in payroll processing.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience in managing a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
