LHH is looking to fill a Senior Construction Accountant position with a large privately held construction company in the Dallas area. This position has been created due to company growth and will be groomed for progression by the Accounting Manager. The company is a trusted business partner in the construction industry with over 60 years of operations. This position pays 80K-90K. The company offers great work-life balance and wonderful flexibility.

Responsibilities include:

· Job cost variance analysis

· Participate in the month end close process

· Financial statement preparation and analysis

· General ledger account reconciliation

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting

· Create system reports for upper management

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· 5-7 years of accounting experience; preferably in construction or related industry

· Familiar with percentage of completion revenue recognition would be a plus

· Strong Excel skills

· Sage 100 or job costing system experience preferred

· Possess management and leadership skills and experience
