We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trial Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with extensive trial experience to work on complex litigation cases in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in litigation and a proven track record in supporting trial preparation and assisting attorneys during all stages of trial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial and appeal.

  • Prepare and organize trial documents, including exhibits, deposition transcripts, witness lists, and trial notebooks.

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents in compliance with court rules.

  • Coordinate and manage trial logistics, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and expert meetings.

  • Conduct legal research and gather case law, statutes, and evidence for trial preparation.

  • Prepare summaries of depositions, expert reports, medical records, and other key documents.

  • Attend and assist with trials, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.

  • Maintain accurate case files and manage deadlines using case management software.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures.

  • Provide general litigation support, including assisting with discovery, document review, and trial strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on trial preparation.

  • Proven trial experience, including assisting in all phases of trial, from pre-trial motions to post-trial proceedings.

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.

  • Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.
