100% ONSITE POSITION AT DAVENPORT, IA FACTORY.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Coordinator is to support Human Resources Manager, Assistant(s) and Trainee(s); assist employees, handle confidential information, maintain records, plant security, community and employee events, new hire orientation and assist with all recruiting efforts and maintain necessary level of office supplies. It is also the Coordinators responsibility to support plant safety, quality, and Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage internal and external recruiting process from initial phase to onboarding.

2. Process and maintain all transactions for new hires, transfers, terminations, promotions, garnishments, publications, etc.

3. Manage the bidding process.

4. Maintain and update exit interview logs, terminations, employee handbooks, OJTs, code-a-phone, etc.

5. Coordinate and monitor employee performance program(s).

6. Assist with attendance tracking, disciplines, org. chart changes, bid and wage changes, and FMLA paperwork.

7. Responsible for employee communication through email and bulletin board postings

8. Send out communications about employees birthdays and plant anniversaries.

9. Order flowers, gifts, gift cards, anniversary presents, food, etc. for employees

10. Purchase and maintain office supply inventory.

11. Coordinate efforts associated with uniform program.

12. Organize and coordinate all employee functions/activities and catering.

13. Coordinate vending service.

14. Responsible for the pet food ordering program and the company store.

15. Calculate and submit HR reports for corporate/factory and maintain applicant flow log for plants annual AAP and quarterly monitoring.

16. Assist with Wage Surveys.

17. Maintain accurate records for all security, Kronos cards, keys, fobs, parking tags, locker assignments/locks and security card system.

18. Maintain and track safety training documents and spreadsheets for temporary and contract employees.

19. Maintain hourly associates status sheets for payroll.

20. File hourly payroll checks weekly.

21. Support TPM activities.

22. Perform back up duties for other HR Admin.

23. Perform all other duties assigned by HR Manager, Assistants and Trainees.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer applications. 2. Must have the ability to multi-task and have exceptional organizational skills.

3. Must be detail oriented and able to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion.

4. Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new concepts.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

1. High School Education or GED required, AA Degree or Equivalent preferred.

2. Two to three years general administration experience or equivalent. Do not have to have an HR background

Human Resources experience a plus.

Dress code is 100% cotton - in case this person goes out into the plant. Blue jeans are 100% cotton as well. Shirts, sweatshirts and tennis shoes are allowed.
