Benefits Specialist


Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is connecting with Benefits Specialists for our clients’ upcoming hiring needs in the Denver Metro Area. These roles may be temporary, temp-to-hire, or direct hire. For temporary and temp-to-hire roles, you will be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below).


Responsibilities:

  • Administering benefits plans
  • Conducting new hire benefits orientations
  • Assisting with Open Enrollment
  • Entering and updating employee benefit information in the database
  • Processing enrollments, changes, and terminations benefit plans
  • Working with payroll to ensure benefit deductions are adjusted correctly
  • Answering employees’ benefits-related questions
  • Running audits and reconciling benefits discrepancies
  • All other tasks as required


Qualifications:

  • At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar benefits role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience in HRIS software
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA, and COBRA


Compensation:

  • Hourly rate between $26.00 and $31.00
