Job Posting: Credit and Collections Specialist


Location: Near Commerce City, CO | Schedule: Hybrid | Pay: $22-$25 per hour


We are seeking a motivated Credit and Collections Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in their Accounts Receivable (A/R) operations, focusing on customer reconciliations and credit management. As a Collection Specialist, you will work closely with their business units and corporate shared services, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables while maintaining strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor A/R aging and proactively manage customer accounts to minimize overdue payments.


  • Conduct customer credit analyses to support decision-making.


  • Initiate collection efforts through calls, emails, faxes, and letters.


  • Perform trend analysis on customer revenue and A/R.


  • Assist in bank reporting and ensure compliance with A/R related regulations.


  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve team goals.


Experience and Skills Required:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


  • Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Collections.


  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data analysis.


  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


  • Ability to handle disputes and manage data effectively.


  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.


  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
