Job Title: HR Generalist (with DEI Experience)

Employment Type: Contract/Contract to Hire

Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for an HR Generalist that also has experience with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)! As a HR Generalist, you will be working with the HR team in all aspects of Human Resources and helping build/support DEI policies. City: Denver, CO

Salary: $60,000+ annually (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support on DEI culture development and implementation of company-wide DEI trainings/events/programs
  • Act as the primary point of contact regarding DEI policy questions and potential obstacles
  • Work with an HRIS system to process and track applicants, performance reviews, pay rate scales, and document retention
  • Partner with HR colleagues/supervisors to resolve employee issues, provide training, and support employees experiencing payroll and benefits difficulties
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are applied across multiple departments and, in some cases, develop necessary policies and procedures to address potential gaps
  • Comfortable processing FMLA, attendance and STD/LTD requests/issues
  • Provide support and guidance to hiring managers for all new hire paperwork and training
  • You are an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience supporting multiple HR functions across departments
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with FMLA, attendance, Workers’ Compensation, and STD/LTD processing
  • Systems: MS Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook), ADP (or a similar system), Google Suite
  • Must have direct experience in DEI (policy development, committee involvement, and/or strong knowledge of DEI laws/regulations)
  • Knowledge of union laws a plus
  • Schedule: Typically Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with a possibility for remote/hybrid options
