Job Title: HR Generalist (with DEI Experience)

Employment Type: Contract/Contract to Hire

Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for an HR Generalist that also has experience with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)! As a HR Generalist, you will be working with the HR team in all aspects of Human Resources and helping build/support DEI policies. City: Denver, CO

Salary: $60,000+ annually (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support on DEI culture development and implementation of company-wide DEI trainings/events/programs

Act as the primary point of contact regarding DEI policy questions and potential obstacles

Work with an HRIS system to process and track applicants, performance reviews, pay rate scales, and document retention

Partner with HR colleagues/supervisors to resolve employee issues, provide training, and support employees experiencing payroll and benefits difficulties

Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are applied across multiple departments and, in some cases, develop necessary policies and procedures to address potential gaps

Comfortable processing FMLA, attendance and STD/LTD requests/issues

Provide support and guidance to hiring managers for all new hire paperwork and training

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

2-3+ years of experience supporting multiple HR functions across departments

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Familiarity with FMLA, attendance, Workers’ Compensation, and STD/LTD processing

Systems: MS Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook), ADP (or a similar system), Google Suite

Must have direct experience in DEI (policy development, committee involvement, and/or strong knowledge of DEI laws/regulations)

Knowledge of union laws a plus

Schedule: Typically Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with a possibility for remote/hybrid options
