Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant

Please note that though this job is 100% remote, you MUST have recent experience working in a similar role for a company based in Colorado.

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solution (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant job for a company based in Henderson, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. You must also have recent experience working for a company based in Colorado.

This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $30.00 and $45.00 per hour. You will work from home using company-provided equipment. During the temporary period, you will be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below). When you are converted to a permanent employee, you will be eligible for this company’s benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Processing full-cycle AP


• Processing full-cycle AR including creating and sending out invoices to clients


• Processing payroll


• Filing sales tax


• Filing unemployment with the state of Colorado


• Month-end and year-end close procedures


• Making journal entries


• Running reports


• General ledger accounting


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role


• Expertise with QuickBooks Desktop


• Recent experience working for a company based in Colorado


• Excellent attention to detail


• Excellent analytical skills


• Excellent organizational skills

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $30.00 and $45.00
