Sr Data Engineer (remote) in Denver, Colorado

LHH is looking for an Sr. Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience. The candidate should be able to deliver high quality and efficient solutions for manufacturing sites through data strategy and quality. The candidate should have some experience working with machine learning and will lead efforts to identify data sets that will need to be developed and deployed into Azure cloud. This position is 100% remote and is a 1-year contract role.

Responsibilities:

Create, test and deploy solutions and applications to transform data for end-user consumption using Python, Azure Data factory, Inmation, and Databricks.

Create, test and support data storage for large data constructs as well as relational and other database technologies.

Test system designs to ensure best practices are being followed

Analyze internal and external data sources for transformation and delivery to end user solutions.

Develop notebooks for data flows in Databricks with Python

Work with Power BI users, help deliver data through Dataflows and Datasets

Collaborate with agile team and contribute to team efforts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent in IT or related field

3+ years of experience in a related role

Experience with ETL and cloud technologies

Functional experience with data architecture, design and engineering

3+ years of experience writing python code

3+ years of experience working with SQL, DAX, MAX and other querying languages

3+ years of experience working with Azure data factory pipelines, data bricks, and data lakes

Nice to have: 1+ years of experience with C#, .net or other programming languages
