Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and analyze software license agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Track and manage software usage, entitlements, and compliance across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and IT teams to ensure licensing terms are met.
  • Identify potential risks or gaps in software compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of software assets, renewals, and licensing metrics.
  • Support audits and internal reviews related to software licensing and intellectual property.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in software asset management (SAM), software licensing, or contract analysis.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property law or technology law is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of common licensing models (e.g., SaaS, perpetual, subscription-based).
  • Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, or similar asset management platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or technology-related role.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelors degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
