LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours in Detroit, MI that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This is a full-time, on-site, Direct Hire opportunity. Need to have at least 6+ years of payroll processing for at least 400+ employees. Responsibilities:

• Execute bi-weekly payroll for approximately 400+ employees

• Monitor employee pay rates and hours to ensure accuracy

• Calculate the payroll variance each week

• Multiple payrolls

• Leadership of others

• Payroll journal entries

• Garnishments and levies

• Manage Direct Deposits and all data entry into our payroll system

• Assist with benefits 401k audits

• Benefits journal entries

Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and handle pressure situations with ease

• MS Office Suite: Excel pivot tables required

• 6 + years of Payroll/Payroll Accounting

Specifics:

• $31/hr.-$35hr. dependent on depth of relevant experience

• Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Contract-to-Hire
