Contract/Temp to Hire

LHH is working with a manufacturing and distribution company in Edison, NJ that is hiring for a temporary to hire Import/Export Customer Service Representative.

The company is extremely busy and looking for someone who can hit the ground running working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and strong follow through. The hours are 9AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the international imports and exports, along with all necessary required forms and documentation
  • Keep track of the daily inventory
  • Issue and process intercompany and domestic purchase orders
  • Coordinate, route and manage inbound orders and shipments
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and sales reps via phone and email
  • Monitor and process invoices
  • Process damaged goods
  • Various administrative tasks as needed
  • Requirements:

  • Bilingual Mandarin/English is a plus
  • Imports/exports experience OR a supply chain degree is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience using SAGE or an ERP is strongly preferred
  • Able to work overtime to get the job done
  • Quick learner with ability to multitask
