MERCHANDISING PLANNER

A high-end manufacturing company in Edison, NJ is looking to hire a temporary Merchandising Planner for a minimum of 3 to 6 months with the possibility for extension. This role will be in office for training, and then will switch to hybrid with 3 days in office and two days from home. The qualified candidate should have experience within inventory, purchasing, supply chain or merchandising.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the US Procurement mailbox
  • Follow up on estimated time of arrivals
  • Follow up on product inquiries
  • Support inventory management
  • Update category, pricing and inventory type
  • Maintain the special order tracker
  • QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within inventory, purchasing, supply chain or merchandising.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work on a team and independently
