LHH is working with a national rubber manufacturing company seeking an Accounting Plant Manager. The Accounting Plant Manager will oversee financial operations at the largest North American plant, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial processes and systems. This leadership role requires a professional with strong expertise in plant operations, financial controls, inventory management, and reporting to drive efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsiblities

· Manage and oversee all financial activities for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

· Monitor and implement effective financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Handle inventory management processes, ensuring accurate valuation and tracking of inventory levels.

· Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and monthly reconciliations with precision and timeliness.

· Collaborate closely with plant leadership to align financial goals with operational strategies.

· Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements within the plant’s financial operations.

· Ensure adherence to company-wide standard operating procedures and internal control frameworks.

Required Qualifications

· Proven direct experience working within a plant environment, handling controls, inventory, financial statements, and balance sheets.

· Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, particularly in a manufacturing context.

· Experience and proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.

· Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities to manage teams and interact across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience managing financial operations at a large-scale plant or manufacturing facility.

· Familiarity with North American financial and regulatory standards.

· Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving measures and operational efficiencies.
