Human Resource Coordinator

The Human Resource Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support across a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a Contract opportunity, located near Elk Grove Village, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Assist with employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and other workplace issues.
  • Assist in the administration of employee disciplinary actions and investigations as needed.
  • Maintain employee morale and foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee welfare programs.
  • Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and metrics.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of company events.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Details:
  • Contract
  • Monday- Friday
  • Pay $24-$30 an hour depending on experience
