LHH is looking to fill a Temporary to Direct Hire Payroll and Accounting Specialist Job in Escondido, CA for our client. This Payroll and Accounting Specialist will report directly to the HR Manager and CFO and will be responsible for the duties outlined below. Ideally, this candidate will be immediately available and will also have hands on experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities for this Payroll and Accounting Specialist job opportunity:

- Review and process payroll for about 150 employees; multistate

- Set up new hires, changes in pay, garnishments and terminations

- Heavy data entry for Accounts Payable (bills, invoices, expense reports, etc…)

- Input daily cash receipts and assist with bank reconciliations

Qualified Candidate Requirements:

- Two years of experience preferred

- Experience using ADP Workforce Now

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proven track record of tenured work history

- Moderate skill with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
