LHH has partnered with a Fair Lawn, New Jersey based company in their search to hire an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a direct hire position that will be 100% on-site. This is for a smaller office and is a good fit for someone who considers themselves a “worker-bee,” as well as someone who can offer a strong support to the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and Process A/P transactions
  • Apply appropriate expense classifications to ensure accuracy
  • Review, verify, and process expense reports
  • Communicate across divisions to address any A/P related issues
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices
  • Analyze and reconcile various assigned general ledger accounts
  • Process bank reconciliations
  • Assist with administrative tasks and activities related to accounting and general office management
  • Qualifications:

  • Prior A/P experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting terminology
  • Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work well independently
