We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Analyst to join an accounting team near Farmington Hills, MI. This role is a responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of vendor invoices and payments. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounts payable practices, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings a high level of accuracy and organization to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Maintain vendor records and ensure W-9s and tax documentation are current

  • Assist with weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfer

  • Monitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries professionally and efficiently

  • Track and prepare monthly accruals and assist with month-end close activities

  • Support internal audits by providing invoice and payment documentation as needed

  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and accounting to streamline AP workflows

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and financial controls

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 3-way match processing

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and electronic payment platforms

  • Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls related to payables



Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $61,000.00 per year
