Supply Chain Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in the North Carolina area. This role will oversee supply chain and logistics operations to enhance production, decrease risk and reduce cost of organization’s supply chain. Experience in procurement processes, and the ability to develop a team in these areas is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Create supply chain management strategies that enhance logistics; including analyzing current inventories and procedures with improvement suggestions
  • Train and develop a team with clear strategic direction and regular performance feedback. Reinforcement of OSHA safety guidelines
  • Develop and build relationships with surrounding area for procurement of raw materials
  • Manage the resale and material flow for building operations to increase efficiency
  • Balance safety, cost management and business growth then prepare and submit reports
  • Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Working experience of relevant software; SAP, Oracle, EHS
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to be dynamic
  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 + years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
