LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in St. Louis, MO to join a leading organization in the consumer product manufacturing industry. To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a TEMPORARY TO HIRE opportunity, meaning there will be an opportunity to join this team permanently at a later time. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be able to take advantage of BENEFITS provided through LHH for the length of their contract.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM to start. More flexibility offered later

What you’ll be doing:

Invoice Entry – 3 way matching (Invoice, Receiving Document, Purchase Order)

Monitor accounting e-mail

Enter Expenses – Invoice Coding & Data Entry

Reconcile corporate credit cards

Maintain vendor files

Create budget reports bi-monthly

Maintain AP files on SharePoint

Help develop new policies and procedures

Act as a backup to the AR team

What you bring to the table:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with general accounting principles and accounting software

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, vendors, and coworkers

Experience with developing and maintaining spreadsheets and schedules

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good presentation skills for training AP Resources

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Basic math skills required

Good planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
