Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract to Hire)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Salary: $25-$27 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a contract to hire position with an hourly rate of $25-$27. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume environment and a background in shared services is a plus. This role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
  • Assist with month-end closing and other accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Shared services experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
