Accountant

Accounting Principals is partnering with a prestigious nonprofit in East Ft. Worth, TX in the search for an Accountant. Qualified applicants will have 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in grant work. Responsibilities:

Reconcile and post paments

Assist with grants compliance and accuracy

Review contracts

Responsible to tracking of donations and various funds

Assist with reconciliations including GL accounts, Balance Sheet and P&L Statement

Responsible for Fixed Assets, Inventory, and depreciation schedules

Bank Reconciliations

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years Accountant experience and knowledge

BA or BS in Accounting or Finance is a must

MS Office including intermediate Excel is required.

Experience with Sage MIP software and UltiPro (Ultimate Payroll software) a plus

Dependable, cooperative and willing attitude.

Cross train with other staff in the department and back up the duties of others when necessary.
