Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for this company's organization (multi states/high volumne/inhouse)- US operations. This position is also responsible for complete payroll processing duties including, but not limited to: payroll entry, multiple locations payroll processing, tax and benefits reconciliations, withholding orders, and payroll reporting. Must have 2 to 3 years minimum payroll experience.
Functions:
Process payroll for the US organization; includes updating employee rates, hours, deductions
Partner with human resources to ensure all payroll transactions are authorized and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Partner with human resources to troubleshoot and fix any errors in time and attendance prior to submitting payroll.
Prepare/process/transmit funding files and reports in a timely manner
Process incentive and other reports as requested
Partner with benefits to ensure the accurate and timely processing of benefit deduction adjustments.
Payroll review and reconciliation (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
Assist with various audits (internal and external) and financial reconciliations
Prepare year-end processing and W-2s- working closely with the payroll vendor
Qualifications for Consideration:
Minimum of 4+ years experience processing multi state payrolls
Advanced Excel profiecency (Vlookup, Pivot Table)
Payroll reconcialiations and understanding of payroll tax laws/regulations strongly preferred
Strong understanding of payroll laws and procedures
Ability to work onsite
