Location: Garden City, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and people-focused Human Resources Manager to support a workforce of approximately 200 employees in our Garden City location. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of human resources, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, succession planning, training and development, and strategic partnership with leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.

  • Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management.

  • Design and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and retention.

  • Drive succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity and talent readiness.

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain and enhance company culture, employee engagement, and internal communications.

  • Manage HR policies, procedures, and systems to support operational efficiency.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong generalist background.

  • Proven experience in employee relations, leadership development, and organizational planning.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

  • Experience working in family-owned or closely held businesses is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).

  • Experience implementing HRIS systems or process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility across diverse teams.



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
