We are actively seeking a Staff Accountant for a company in Garland. Some of the Staff Accountant's responsibilities will be performing journal entries, account reconciliations, posting accruals and assisting with the month end close process. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to learn and eager to gain knowledge from a great mentor. This company offers a family friend environment and promotes a good culture and good work-life balance. This is a Hybrid position and pays 70K-75K.


Responsibilities:

  • Review the general ledger
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet/bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Various cash management functions
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports and forms
  • Create ad hoc reports as requested by the Accounting Manager

  • Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required
  • Strong excel skills
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
