The Design Engineering Manager will lead the Engineering Design Department, setting strategic direction and ensuring all design initiatives support the company’s long-term goals. This role focuses on delivering innovative, efficient, and cost-effective systems, while improving operational performance and design capabilities. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and execute the department’s strategic goals in alignment with company objectives.

  • Oversee the design of grinding systems and related technologies to meet performance, quality, and cost targets.

  • Develop and enforce engineering standards, design processes, and best practices.

  • Act as the lead technical authority on product design and problem-solving.

  • Mentor and develop the engineering team to foster a high-performance culture.

  • Introduce new tools, materials, and methods to improve product innovation and competitiveness.

  • Ensure effective use of CAD and ERP systems, including BOM workflows.

  • Approve key design decisions, budgets, and timelines.

  • Support product lifecycle management from concept to post-launch enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; Master’s or MBA preferred.

  • 7–10 years of engineering experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong background in product design, mechanical/electrical systems, and engineering principles.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex design projects.

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, ERP systems, and BOM management.

  • Experience in manufacturing, especially with capital equipment or industrial systems.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
