Insurance Verification Specialist (on site specific)

Compensation up to $24.00 (with experience)
Able to work remote if required but reside in specific on site location
Requirements:
• 1-2 years' experience working in insurance verification or benefits coordination for a physician, hospital, health care insurance company, or billing office.
• Medical Assistants encouraged to apply!
• Typing skills 50 WPM
• Ability to work with verification's/ authorizations via internet
• Organized- note taker
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Critical thinking skills
• Sense of urgency
• Team environment

Responsibilities:
• Entry of Demographics- both creating and reviewing accounts to include patient and insurance demographics.
• Accessing various websites/ passport for verification.
• Working and follow up with PCP offices to obtain authorizations
• Managing and tagging accounts once verification is completed and for review of add-ons throughout the day.
• Review and completion of new accounts in P2P ( provider to provider referrals)
Qualifications:
Previous medical clerical experience preferred. Computer knowledge, e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Accuracy and being detail oriented are keys to our success. Our office is seeking someone to be a positive team player and deliver great customer service. Must also deliver clear and articulate phone voice as well as good written communication skills. Training is provided.
