Veterinary Front Desk

LHH is looking for someone who loves animals in the Glendale, AZ area. The role is for an Account Representative and the primary role is performing a variety of front office operations, delivering support for the students, faculty, staff, and pet owners. The position reports to the Manager of Accounts.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets by name as they enter the Clinic

Schedule appointments for veterinary patients and complete registration

Answer phones and direct client questions to the appropriate team member

Enter client/ pet owner information into the practice management software

Utilize correct veterinary terminology

Perform cashiering/over the counter payments and collections

Differentiate routine veterinary cases from emergency cases

Document appropriate notes in practice management software

Generate receipts to clients

Explain charges/balances to clients/pet owners

Prepare account adjustments for approval

Work extended hours and weekends

On occasion, animal handling may be required

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Must have regular, predictable, in-person attendance

Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Veterinary receptionist skills or will look at Healthcare front office/receptionist exp.

Knowledge of veterinary medicine

Cash Handling

Excellent Customer service

Medical office reception

Must be comfortable around Animals and will be doing curb side check ins and will walk the animal into the office.

Outgoing candidate bubbly friendly personality. Not afraid to approach people and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills Required

Excellent customer service

Knowledge of veterinary medicine (ideal but not required)

Medical office reception skills

Cash handling experience

Computer skills.

Schedule/ Compensation

Location: Glendale, AZ

Duration: Contract for 90 days could be extended

Shift: M-F, 7am-6:30pm Must be Flexible

$19-$21 per hour

Must be Vaccinated
