We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Representative to join a team near Dicken, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and experience handling high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner using a three-way matching system

  • Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve billing issues

  • Prepare and process electronic payments, checks, and ACH transactions

  • Maintain vendor records and ensure proper documentation is on file

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements as needed

  • Support monthly closing processes, including AP accruals and reporting

  • Assist with audits by gathering necessary documentation

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience

  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)

  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, sorting/filtering, formulas)

  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a high-volume AP environment

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Familiarity with purchase orders and receiving documentation



Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
