LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for one of our clients located near Grand Rapids, MI 49502. The payroll specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and processing payroll for employees. Do you have over 3 years’ experience of processing payroll? If so, this may be a great opportunity for you!

Job scope/Duties

• Process and input employee changes such as deduction revisions, scheduled payments, benefit enrollments, and banking information

• Maintenance of payroll records

• Processing and input other earnings required for payroll such as bonuses, commissions, and vacation payouts

• Inputting new hires into the database

• Auditing employees' timecards of time and attendance

• Processing payroll

• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of payroll experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Skills

• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Ability to multitask

• Strong computer skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Workday experience would be beneficial

Physical Requirements

• General office environment

Shift/Hours

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00am-5:00pm, 40HRS a week

Compensation

• $50-55K DOE
