We are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant in Greensboro, NC! This is a fully on-site, contract opportunity. This position involves supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be quick to learn, tactful, empathetic, and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for the HR group, located at the entrance.

  • Conduct initial Employee Relations (ER) intakes by recording the employee's name, supervisor's name, and issue.

  • Complete intake forms and forward them to senior HR personnel for further handling.

  • Coordinate new hire orientations for temporary employees with the agency.

  • Capture conversions for temporary employees who are hired and assist with maintaining personnel files.

  • Sort and file physical copies of employee documents and digitize them as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn quickly and handle tasks with tact and empathy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer service mentality.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus.



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
