Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Gurnee, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

· Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

· Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

· Support external audits and coordinate with auditors.

· Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

· 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation:

Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
