LHH is partnering with a leading real estate group in the Cuyahoga Falls area to find a motivated and enthusiastic Property Accountant for a contract-to-hire role that offers immediate impact and long-term potential.
About the Role
As a Property Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing financial operations for a portfolio of properties. From preparing monthly financial statements to reconciling accounts and supporting audits, your work will directly contribute to the financial health and transparency of the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for assigned properties
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audits
- Collaborate with property managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of accounting experience (property or real estate accounting preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, MRI, or similar is a plus)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
