LHH is seeking a HR & Payroll Administrator in the Indianapolis, IN area. The HR & Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payrolls for US and International team while providing administrative support for the HR department. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail who is excited about working in a fast-paced environment!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing. This includes bi-weekly payroll processing for US and Canada and monthly payroll processing for our international team

• Payroll processing includes commissions, bonus pays, timekeeping, payroll taxes and PTO processing for exempt and non-exempt employees. Compliance with federal and state reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting)

• Maintain integrity of data for payroll and personnel files to ensure employee base information is updated, including wages and demographic information. Maintain and protect highly confidential information.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll and HR legislation and labor laws.

• Address employee concerns regarding payroll. Must have the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization in a diverse workforce

• Assist with onboarding process and ensuring all paperwork is received timely and checked for accuracy

• Responsible for monthly internal reporting

• Additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years’ experience with multi-state payroll

• Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced company

• Previous experience working in Human Resources

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong problem-solving skills.

• Good organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize assignments, meet critical deadlines and manage a wide range of projects

• Advanced skills in Microsoft excel

• Associates Degree preferred

  • Indianapolis, IN
  • $20-$26hr
  • Hybrid Schedule – 8am-5pm 3 days onsite (Mon, Wed and Fri) and Tues & Thurs are remote
  • Temp to Hire - converts after 521 hours
